Dr. Maura Massucci, OD, FCOVD
Maura Massucci, O.D., F.C.O.V.D. is residency trained in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation. She began her extensive education at the University of Notre Dame, graduating magna cum laude. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. Massucci was selected for the prestigious residency program at the State University of New York, College of Optometry (SUNY), in Manhattan. This extensive program includes training in pediatrics, amblyopia, strabismus, and vision therapy.
After several years of practice in New York and New Jersey, Dr. Massucci returned home to the Pittsburgh area to found Massucci Vision Plus where she practices full scope optometry with a focus on vision therapy, rehabilitation, and the examination of patients with special needs. Dr. Massucci has also done extensive work with patients recovering from concussions and other brain injuries that effect vision. In 2011, Dr. Massucci became board certified in children’s vision, vision therapy, and visual rehabilitation. Dr. Massucci is a Board Certified Fellow in developmental vision and vision therapy by the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (F.C.O.V.D.). She lectures internationally on these topics.
Additional areas of clinical interest for Dr. Massucci include fitting contact lenses (including contact lenses for astigmatism and multifocal contact lenses) and treating Dry Eye Syndrome. She is licensed to treat ocular disease, including glaucoma, diabetes, age related macular degeneration (ARMD), and anterior/ posterior segment pathology, including eye infections.

Dr. Kirsten Lawson, OD
Dr. Kirsten Lawson was born and raised in Pittsburgh. She graduated from Ohio Northern University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She received her Doctor of Optometry from the Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, Indiana. While there, Dr. Lawson was elected as the school’s Equipment Representative and sat on the Indiana University Optometric Student Association Council. Additionally, Dr. Lawson was a Clinical Associate Instructor for clinical labs for first year optometry students. During her clinical externships, Dr. Lawson trained at the Indianapolis Eye Care Center, Whitewater Eye Centers of Richmond and Connersville, IN and The Villages Veterans Outpatient Clinic in The Villages, FL.
Dr. Lawson enjoys providing comprehensive patient care with a personalized approach. Her special interests are in complex contact lens care, glaucoma, post concussion treatments as well as co-management of surgical procedures. She is licensed to treat various ocular disease and pathologies, including glaucoma, diabetes, dry eye, age related macular degeneration (ARMD) and other urgent eye conditions.
She resides in Cranberry Township with her husband, James Adam, a fellow optometrist. They enjoy biking, kayaking, exploring the food scene of Pittsburgh and are “die hard” Pittsburgh sports fans.

Dr. Heather Snyder, OD
Dr. Heather Snyder graduated from the Honors Program at The Ohio State University, with a B.S. in Neuroscience. She then went on to the Illinois College of Optometry where she received her Doctor of Optometry. After optometry school she completed a residency which provided an additional year of training focused in pediatrics and binocular vision. This program focused on myopia management as well as strabismus, amblyopia and vision therapy.
In addition to routine eye care, Dr. Snyder has a passion for fitting contact lenses. She is licensed to treat many ocular diseases including glaucoma, diabetes and macular degeneration to name a few.
Dr. Snyder currently lives in the Wexford area with her husband and two dogs. On the weekends she can be found taking her dogs on long walks or out exploring the city.
